Engagement:
CS Systemes SA, a Paris, France based international transportation contractor retained Lakeland Asset Management as project director and consultant in a pre-claim situation on a 15 mile new tollroad system in the San Diego area.
Process:
Lakeland Asset Management began immediate evaluations of the project and meetings with key CS personnel as well as with the San Diego client, SBX which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the multi-national Australian construction and engineering firm McQuarrie.
Outcome:
During this 12 month engagement (and still on-going) Lakeland Asset Management achieved the following:
......- Worked key French and US personnel of CS to achieve a clear picture of present project
........status and made recommendations on how to proceed.
......- Identified all issues and put in place a plan to resolve these issues to get the project as well
........as the relationship with the client back on track.
......- Negotiated new Change Orders to move the project forward with a clear plan for both sides
........ of the contract.
......- Reviewed all invoices and corrected the disorganized financial aspect of the contract.
......- Reviewed all technical systems (maintenance diagnostics, revenue collection system,
....... violation system) and worked with the IT divisions in order to achieve the technical
....... contractual requirements.
